Individual Skills Assessment (ISA) Course Description
Prerequisite: Confined Space Rescue Technician or Industrial Rope Access Technician I/II
This class can be an ISA for Confined Space Rescue Technician or Industrial Rope Access Technician or a combination of both. Too often there are there are rescuers who do not keep up their skills let’s face it we are all busy and sometimes it is difficult to keep in practice. This course is designed to help the individual. Skill stations are created so that each team member can complete the skill by themselves. The students rotate through and rig a system or operate a system, tie knots, patient package and more. They are graded and debriefed confidentially on areas of concern so that all team members are proficient and comfortable with the skills need to be proficient to conduct successful outcomes. After evaluations time is allowed for the students to practice their weak areas so that they are proficient and comfortable with the skill. This class is customized to your team’s availability and can be an 8 hour, 16 hour or 36 hour course. 16 or 36 hour course is recommended.
Class size is limited to 12 in order to ensure small student-to-instructor ratio for maximum hands-on learning for the students.
