Northeast Tech's Business & Industry Services Business Incubator recently received certification from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, becoming part of a statewide network dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship, business growth and economic development across Oklahoma.

The certification recognizes Northeast Tech's commitment to providing entrepreneurs and small-business owners with the resources, guidance, training and professional workspace needed to launch and grow successful businesses. Through this designation, the Northeast Tech Business Incubator joins a network of certified incubators working to strengthen local economies by helping startups survive, scale and create jobs.

Located at the Grand Lake Campus, the incubator serves entrepreneurs throughout northeast Oklahoma by offering affordable office space, conference facilities, a podcast studio, day-pass workspace options, business coaching, networking opportunities and professional development training. The facility is also home to Northeast Tech's Business Development Program, which provides one-on-one business consulting and strategic planning support to entrepreneurs across the region.

"This certification represents much more than a designation," said Rebekah King, Business Development Trainer for Northeast Tech. "It validates our commitment to helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into sustainable businesses while creating opportunities for economic growth throughout the communities we serve."

The incubator supports resident businesses while providing resources for aspiring entrepreneurs, remote workers, startups and expanding companies. Through partnerships with organizations including the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, Cherokee Nation, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and small-business resource partners, Northeast Tech is creating a regional hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.

The certification also opens the door to additional opportunities and resources available through Oklahoma's certified incubator network, helping entrepreneurs access tools designed to improve business success and long-term sustainability.

Serving a five-county region in northeast Oklahoma, Northeast Tech's Business Incubator reflects the organization's mission of workforce development, entrepreneurship support and economic growth. By helping businesses start, grow and thrive, the incubator contributes to stronger communities, increased job creation and a more resilient regional economy.

Using "recently received certification" keeps it accurate whether the paper runs tomorrow or next week. Another option is "has received certification," but I prefer "recently received" for newspaper releases because it's cleaner and more direct.
