Northeast Tech has named Brent Ryan assistant superintendent and campus director for the Pryor Campus, effective July 1. Ryan served as campus director-elect during the past year.
Ryan brings nearly 30 years of experience in Oklahoma CareerTech, having served in roles including counselor, instructor, director of instruction, campus director and district administrator. Throughout his career, he has focused on instructional leadership, program development and continuous improvement initiatives that have strengthened educational systems and expanded opportunities for students and instructors.
“Brent’s extensive experience in CareerTech, combined with his passion for student success and instructional excellence, makes him an outstanding leader for our Pryor Campus,” Superintendent Derek Beller said. “His expertise in instructional leadership, accreditation, workforce development and student services will be invaluable as we continue expanding opportunities for students and strengthening partnerships with business and industry.”
Ryan has received statewide and regional recognition for his contributions to CareerTech education, including Oklahoma ACTE Guidance Division Educator of the Year and ACTE Region IV Guidance Division Outstanding Educator. He has also served as Oklahoma ACTE Guidance Division president and contributed to statewide initiatives through Leadership CareerTech and TechCAP.
“I am very excited to join the Northeast Tech family as we work together to change the lives of our students and to improve the communities that make up our district,” Ryan said. “I want everyone who comes to our campus to have a positive experience and look forward to working with the talented staff who make Northeast Tech such a respected institution.”
Ryan holds a Master of Education in counseling and a Bachelor of Science in health and physical education from Northeastern State University. He also holds certifications as a superintendent, K-12 principal, secondary counselor and CareerTech administrator.
