Holidays

Holidays designated and approved by the Board upon presentation by the administration each calendar year shall normally include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas and other days so designated may be observed by all school employees unless regularly assigned duties require the presence of the employee.

Non-certified personnel; however, will normally be required to perform their regular duties during holiday periods. If assigned duties do not require the employee to be present, the administration may grant permission to the employee thus affected to observe the holiday period.
