Employee Benefits
The following definitions shall be used to identify the benefits of employment with NTC.
Regular Full-time employees are those certified instructors covered by the ACT Agreement and those employees who work between 35 and 40 hours per week on a regular basis.
Part-time with Benefits employees are those employees who work between thirty (30) – thirty-five (35) hours per week on a regular basis.
Regular Part-time employees are those employees who work twenty-nine (29) hours per week or less on a regular basis but less than 1050 hours per school year.
The length of an employee’s “day” will be the number of hours regularly scheduled during a typical work day.
Non-Regular, Temporary, Substitute, and Adjunct employees are not eligible for any Health Allowance, Life Insurance, Teacher Retirement, Sick Leave, Personal Leave, or Annual Leave benefits.
