Equipment Control
Inasmuch as each department is specifically charged with the care and responsibility of equipment, the department will exercise caution in assuring the equipment of the school is accorded proper care and use.
When it is learned that equipment or materials have been damaged or stolen, a written report shall be filed immediately with the Director. Further, equipment worn to the point that it can no longer be effectively used should be reported in writing to the Director when such condition is noted.
No equipment or tools shall be rented or loaned to individuals, organizations or corporations outside of the school system without the express consent of the Superintendent or his/her designee and the instructor responsible for the control of said equipment.
