Adult Education
Recognizing the need of adults for continual growth and development of career and technical skills, the Board of Education endorses and encourages Adult Education Programs that are taught when demand and interest warrants. Personnel of the school are available to provide information to adults interested in enrolling in Adult Education Programs.
Persons residing within the prescribed areas of the district are eligible for enrollment in courses in which they have interest and aptitude. Those persons residing outside the area of the district are eligible for enrollment on a space available and tuition basis.
Courses in Adult Education may be designed to develop new skills or increase present skill levels of adults. These courses will be coordinated with the expressed needs of business, industries, and commercial institutions within the area.
Adults enrolled in Adult Education courses may utilize the scheduled transportation routes of the district.
Employees and Board Member of Northeast Technology Center may be afforded the opportunity to attend Adult Education Special Interest Classes tuition free provided the class has met the minimum threshold for enrollees. Eligibility will be determined by the Adult Education Director at the specific campus.
