Carpentry
Career Overview:
The construction industry is one of the largest employers in the country. This course combines classroom instruction with hands-on training to enable graduates to enter the construction field as either a residential framer, trim carpenter, cabinet maker, part of a construction team, or into the commercial carpentry fields of form, frame, or finish carpentry. As part of the hands-on training, students will actually build a complete house from the foundation up each year of this two-year program. The house is then available for sale at the end of the year school auction. College Credits are available from participating colleges and universities.
