Automotive Service Technology
Career Overview:
Skilled automotive service technicians will always be in demand. As technology continues to advance and motor vehicles become more complex, so must the training needed to service them keep pace with the changes. This performance-based program combines classroom study with practical hands-on training to help the student acquire the skills needed to get a job in this rewarding field. The training received will help the graduate pursue a career as a general or specialty mechanic, an operator of a service station or parts store, a service adviser, or fleet superintendent, among other jobs.College Credits are available from participating colleges and universities. Full and Half-Time Sessions:
8:30am – 11:30am and 12:30pm to 3:30pmEnrollment open to high school juniors, seniors, and adult students.
